I'm back from Loola Adventure Resort, Bintan. :)3 days, 2 nights, packed my luggage and got going to school on Wed, 20th Jan 2010. Reached the ISH, filled up some traveling form in black ink, and board the bus. Dumped my fat luggage into the bus' 'big bags' compartment. Paired up with HoJung, sat with her throughout the bus ride. While we were on the bus to the ferry terminal, chatted a little bit, and then called up xutian for a 3days-farewell. LOL. Reached terminal, rushed for the toilet before boarding the ferry. Benjamin was disturbing me with his hat, as usual, i guess? LOL. Boarded ferry, YaoSui gave me one seasick pill. She had to, for my mind was already spinning, twirling, giddy luhs. And then i regretted taking it so late, the effect would only start 30 mins later. Diao. [How long have i not use that word?! ] And then, after eating tons of snacks and junk food, and watching a sound-less music video of MJ, i fell asleep. Woke up only to find that we had arrived at our destination. And i still don't understand why Jewelle kept on complaining that i never sit with her. -.- Lame. Our class separated into two groups, and took 2 different buses at the Indonesia terminal. HoJung and i sat in the same bus, next to each other, Vincent and Wilson infront of us, JianXiong and Daniel [I think], behind us. Slept throughout almost 2/3 of the ride, and watched Vicent and JianSiong trying to pull the leaves from the plants by stretching their hands outta the windows. Dangerous, but fun. *Shrugs shoulders* ZzZz. Reached that time, Benjamin told me that he was watching me slap HoJung's face with my hair during my nap. Oh mannnn, so paiseh. :X Apologised to her. Assembled by our respective groups, in my case; Group 2a. Together with Jewelle, MingGui, Xinyi, Joel, Brandon, Asher, TeoKaiSiang, ChienYee and HoJung. All from 2E2. Ehs, PLUS me! :X It's Crazy. We had 2 trainees, one from Indonesia-Mr Black, and one from sg, Miss Tez. Yeahs, when we assembled at 1st, her headcount was wrong, and she went like, "Oh fuck." HAHAHAHAHAHA, everyone were like, "Orh horh!" . Then she taught us this, "When i say Orange Juice, you say Squeeze, and everyone should be squeezing in so that you can all hear me." Then another one, "When i say Peanut Butter, you?" We all go "SPREAD!" First game after lunch, Coconut Tree Climb. Scary, but fun. I was glad that i had at least tried, and persevered, and even brought down one coconut. It was worth it, it was something that i didn't give up on, and i was really happy, although the holes were a big distance, reaching and stretching out for each hole was quite hard, and tiring. LOL. That was the one time when i thanked myself for having long legs. LOL. At least taller, not that short. :X Coming down that time, we had to kick the tree a little at a time, which was; to me, the best part. Next was Skywalking. Balancing on a round log and jumping off at the right time. FreeFalling. FUN! :D Maybe i should have jumped backwards? Wasted, tsk. [Archery for ppl who had done the freefall.] At the archery station, we learned how to use the bows and arrows, like duh. LOL. I tried a few times, since Asher and WangAhBu were nice enough to help me and HoJung get the arrows. Hahas, didn't shot the bull's eye. Only the black board, or over the whole thing. [Yeps, overshot.] *sobs*. Hahas. After Archery, we had a break time. So, bathed and changed. The toilet was really horrible. I could hear from the girls in the other cubicles screaming that the water's either too cold, or too small. And there's no need to say; the cubicle that i was in was equally the same thing. Sheesh. -.- After i was done bathing, i went mad, going around telling those who haven't bathed not to touch me. LOL, i felt so retarded. :X Free time. Walked circles and circles about the resort with Jewelle. Took photos outside by the stairs at the boys' dorm. Kenna all the complains from the boys. Then go to the so-called 'playground' area. There's a loop there, instructions? >Put 1 leg in it, let go of the other leg, and swing. HAHAHHAHAHA. Jewelle asked the little girl who was playing with the loop, "Hello, can teach me how to play? Can show me how?" Asked dunno how many times and she still so hum, don't dare try. LOLLL. Then we went for dinner, the food's so much better than lunch. SO MUCH BETTER, but still, yeah, i always have complains. HAHAHA. Night, brushed our teeth, not by the one and only sink at the dinning hall, but by the beach. Spitting and rinsing our mouths into the sand. Paiseh, paiseh, but seriously, even the toilets have no sinks, and the queue's so long. Waste of time. Slept in the dorm, all 4 of us shared 3 beds together upstairs luh. Opened my potato chips and shared among ourselves. Finished, got up with HoJung for the REPULSIVE-smelling toilet. NO CHOICE MAH. -.- Thursday. - 21st January 2010. Woke at damnned early. Brushed teeth. And got changed, swimming suit on the inside. [Wow, it sounds like a daily routine. Sians.] Chitchatted with a room mate, Ashwini for awhile, learned about her group's adventures previously and went for breakfast. Breakfast was seriously NICE. Noodles! :D And sunny-sideup eggs, and a slice of watermelon. The noodles were gone in just a split second. Everyone wants a second serving. LOLLL. Group 2a's first activity- BOOMNETTING! The bus drove us near the sea, and then a speedboat brought us to the bigger boat. There were two BIG nets, tied to each side of the boat. Rules? There are 3 levels, and all you have to do is to pick your choice of the level and jump into the net, a.k.a in the sea. [Life vests available.] HOHOHO! I went hyper, started out with level 2, level 1 was a damnned piece of cake. And then, took the challenge and jumped from level 3. It's was DAMN FUN!!!! And i just kept on doing it over and over and over again. Chien Yee has a phobia of heights, apparently. Since she hesitated throughout the whole activity, only trying level 1. [Boring.] Hill Trekking. Probably the most irritating thing. I'm lucky that i wore track pants. [HENG!] The track, was completely different from Bukit Timah hill. Okay, that should go without saying, right? The way up was long, 1hour plus, with super steep slopes that made me nearly fall. The worst thing that happened was that we had reached the top just to find ourselves looking at a 'beautiful' scenery of FACTORIES. WAHHHHHHHHHHH! Going back down was hard too, although it's better than climbing up. Jewelle kinda fell when going down a slope, and landed with a painful butt. LOL. It kinda bled. Tsk. ;x Next was Raft Building. From there, we were splited up to 5 different groups. Our group created a raft that sure didn't sink. Thanks to the what they call, smart freak in science, Kailer. LOL. His ideas are different from the others, therefore, the raft wasn't built in the old school method - tic-tac-toe way. It was in a kinda like criss-cross way. HAIYA, don't know how to describe luh. Barrels were used as floatation devices. Tying everything together with strings was another problem. That was why a barrel broke off halfway during test-drive. :B After bathing, went for the Seaflat Walk at 5.30. O.O It was really saddening, i didn't get to see the starfish and sea cucumbers for the high tide came back too fast. TSK!!! Dinner, got satay. 4 sticks each. MUAHAHAHAHAHA, the food just keeps on getting better. :D Bought Sprite at S$1.50 [Expensive.] from the auntie in the kitchen. No, i dislike coke for certain reasons. Haiis. Had campfire after that. The indonesians there even performed "fire-blowing" effects. Spectacular! LOL. Then everyone PARTEHHHHH. A few popular songs were blaster through the DJ. So cool hor? This type of places still got DJ. HAHA. Lemme recall the songs... Bad Romance, TikTok, LoveStory, You Belong With Me, Low, and some other malay songs. Watched my classmates played volleyball, and got into a fight with the 2NAs and NTs. -.- Smsed Gokul HAPPY BDAE. Thanks to KeeMing who kept on begging me to help him. Oh well. :X Slept at 12.45. So late siols. The party lasted a long while, hahas. My handphone blasted so loud at 3 in the morning. Set the wrong timing for the alarm. I was sooooo embarrased mannnnns. ----------------------------------------------- Friday, 22nd January 2010. CIP that lasted 4 hours for us! We had to walk all the way to our destination. Our job was to built roads with cement for the people living there to have a better environment to live in. Cement was made by ourselves. Collect buckets of gravels, and mix them with the soil or sand i think, together with cement powder. Then we formed a HUMAN CHAIN! Passed buckets of cement to each other, with the one in front pouring and flattening the cement onto the ground. And then, it RAINED. RAINED RAINED RAINED! All don't care lah, go under the rain and work! We are hardworking people! Kidding. LOL. In the end, we built a way longer cemented road then the previous group who did it. HIPHIP HOORAY! :D Abit of free time. Jewelle went to bribe Darryl. Dont know her lah, say that if he helped her with carrying her big big bag, she would give him $10. But from what i see, Darryl was nice, he was willing to help, without the money. Requested him for mosquito repellent, he asked us, "Do you want to smell like a big orange, or herbs?" SO FUNNY. BIG ORANGE I WANT BIG ORANGE! LOL. Lunch and then everyone was prepared to leave already. 2E2 girls, us, were asked to clear up the rubbish in the girls' dorm. All of them were responsible siol! The room was left CLEANED. Then, we had to go liaos. :( Kinda missed the fun alot. Bus-ed to the ferry terminal, which took about 2 full hours. I was roadsick. ROADSICK! Good thing i didn't vomit. :X Waited for the ferry, bought souvenirs for my mom. The last round she went to Bintan, she came back without Sandals-shaped magnets. Damnned, i sure wasn't happy with that. So bought a pack of 3 for her. Sounds stupid, LOL. Jewelle bought Nescafe. Some others bought Ice-cream. Benjamin bought bubblegum. LOL. Ferry arrived, entered, listened to music throughout the journey. Wanted to buy the hotdogs but they claimed that it was sold out. NEVERMIND LORH. Save my money anyways. HAHAHAHAHAHA. The whole class took a Volvo bus to West Mall. LOL. Yeps, that's the final stop already. Free to roam and go home at anytime you want after that. Didn't want to go home so early. Didn't know what to do. Finally, i decided to follow that big group of ppl going Koufu together. I felt really awkward, really extra. But Rachel was nice, she told me this, "As long as you can talk, it's fine." Hahas. There were altogether 16 ppl who went. We took quite awhile to find seats and to settle down. Jolene and Zoey wanted to eat the ramen noodles and i nearly followed them until Vincent bugs in and claimed that ramen have sea "penis" in them. WAHLAO EH! Spoil my mood. LOL. So followed Rachel and Grace, bought spaghetti for dinner, together with starfruit juice. :D Okay, this. is. a. super long post. :X `` yanling. |
